Brie Larson Looks Superhero Chic In Oscar De La Renta

Larson uploaded a photo to her Instagram with the caption, “Is this real life? I have a ride at @Disneyland Paris!!” She described how Disneyland had always had a special place in her heart and then paid tribute to Oscar de la Renta’s creative director, Fernando Garcia, who created her stunning look.

“Thank you @fernandogarciam1205 @oscardelarenta and your team who spent a whopping 400 hours for this look complete with the cape of my dreams.”

Oscar de la Renta shared a photo on their Instagram page as well with the caption, “A hero among us. @brielarson captivates in a custom celestial sequin cape, with gold eyelash paillette top and complementary navy trouser, for the opening of the Avengers Assemble: Flight Force ride at the Avengers Campus in Disneyland Paris. #odlrredcarpet”

The gorgeous cape, which was custom-made for Larson, boasted hand-embroidered gold sequins in a cosmic theme. It required “over 400 hours of craftsmanship in our New York City atelier,” according to Oscar de la Renta.

The brand also uploaded a short video to their Instagram showing the making of the outfit (see above). Larson’s stylist, Samantha McMillen, left a comment on the post saying, “Thank you! Masterpiece!!!” and we couldn’t agree more!
