Keke Palmer has been honored by Time Magazine with a spot on its 100 Next 2022 list, which celebrates emerging leaders in entertainment, business, and other fields.

Along with the recognition, the 29-year-old Nope star got her own cover and a glowing feature written by Queen Latifah describing her as “one of the most talented human beings” and “the epitome of grace, poise, and honesty.” Latifah mentioned her accomplishments as an actress and singer, but we’d like to add her impressive style credentials to that list. Keke is not only an emerging leader but also an up-and-coming fashion icon, and it’s evident in the looks she served up in her Time photoshoot. See below.

Del Core Gown For The Cover

The Alice actress shared her Time photos on her Instagram, and her stylists Wayman and Micah couldn’t have picked a grander outfit for the cover. The green print dress from Milan fashion house, Del Core, boasts an off-the-shoulder neckline, voluminous sleeves that look like wings, and cutouts along the midsection and thighs.

Completing her look are oversized hoop earrings and a simple straight hairstyle.

A Fabulous Dress For A Rising Star

Del Core uploaded a lookbook photo of the fabulous gown to their Instagram, which they captioned, “Jacquard three-piece silk dress with dramatic sleeves and train, connected with garters.”

In another post, they describe it as having “[p]atterns of a moth, all over the body, and all over the dress with sleeves like wings,” making it a very apt look for a rising star like Keke who’s poised to fly to superstardom!

Barbiecore Pink Look By Valentino

For her Time photoshoot, the True Jackson, VP alum also donned a Valentino outfit in the trendy Barbiecore pink shade popularized by the Italian luxury house. It consists of trousers and a flowing maxi shirtdress that was adorned with cascading ruffles. The actress left all but the top button undone for a dose of sex appeal to the covered-up look.

Multicolored Look By Christopher John Rogers

Keke’s third look is another jaw-dropping masterpiece. It is a voluminous color-block opera coat by Christopher John Rogers, rendered in panels of orange, coral, pink, and fuchsia. She completed the outfit with black platform boots, a gold sunburst choker, and hoop earrings. In one photo, she’s also wearing a pair of gold gloves, adding an extra dose of fab to the look!

“For me, it’s always about making sure that I’m achieving the things that I want to achieve,” she says in the video above shared by Time. “I really do live in a universe of my own.” And what a chic universe that is!
