Lea Michele attended the God’s Love We Deliver 2022 Golden Heart Awards on Monday, October 17, and she certainly delivered a heavy dose of glamour with her sparkling look!
The 36-year-old Broadway star was on hand to sing the hit song, “People,” from her musical Funny Girl, and she chose a standout look to go with her stunning performance. She shared several photos on her Instagram to show off the outfit as well as a cute little change to her hairstyle. Keep scrolling to see.
The event is held annually in partnership with Michael Kors so it only made sense that a lot of guests, including Lea, were wearing the brand that night. The Glee alum opted for look 62 of Michael Kors’s Fall 2022 collection, which featured a modern and edgy one-sleeve design, a waist cutout, and all-over sequin detailing.
The gold dress also boasted a thigh-high slit, revealing Lea’s footwear choice which was a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti Harmony sandals. The shoes featured a sexy triple-strap design and retail for $950 on the brand’s website.
The Scream Queens star’s dress wasn’t the only thing that caught our attention that night. We also adored her elegant hairstyle, created by Dafne Evangelista, especially with the fresh update she made to it.
“The bangs are back 💋,” she wrote on Instagram, flaunting her beautiful French twist with curtain bangs. Evangelista also shared a clip on her Instagram showing the glam process – pre- and post-fringe. Watch it below.
Lea’s performance of “People” was as impressive as her gorgeous look, wowing the star-studded audience that included honorees Jessica Alba, Bella Hadid, and Huma Abedin, and honorary chairwoman Anna Wintour.
It was actually a wonderful déjà vu moment because the actress/singer also made a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform the same song, and she wore not just one but two Michael Kors looks.
In case you missed it, Lea stopped by Fallon on September 30, delivered an impressive rendition of “People,” and wowed in a crystal-studded black cutout gown from the brand.
Later, she sat down with the host for an interview wearing another Michael Kors number. It was look 50 of the brand’s Fall 2022 collection, which was a little black dress with long sleeves, a cold-shoulder design, and an asymmetrical neckline, finished off with a pair of strappy heels. She definitely makes a great muse for the label!
