You can call her Dame now.

Eva Longoria has just been conferred the honorific title of Dama in Asturias, Spain. The 47-year-old actress was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to Mexican-American parents, but she traces her roots to Asturias, where her great-grandfather and his family before him originated.

Thanks to her Spanish heritage, she was honored with the Royal Noble Corps medal – which came with the Dama title – during a ceremony in Asturias last week, presented by the Duke of Sevilla, Francisco de Paula Enrique de Borbón. Naturally, she came regally dressed for the occasion. See the gorgeous look below.

'I'm Dama Longoria Now!'

Eva shared some photos and clips on Instagram taken during the trip. One of them is a closeup, with her medal on full display.

“I’m Dama Longoria now!” she wrote. “Received this amazing honor in Asturias, Spain today for my Spanish heritage in this region. My dad couldn’t be here but he would have been a very proud Llongoria! (That’s how it used to be spelled here) Congrats to all the honorees from this region tonight 🙏🏼.”

And can we just take a moment to admire that flawless beauty look?

Draped Gown By Maticevski

And now for the full outfit. Styled by Charlene Roxborough-Konsker, the Desperate Housewives star wore a draped nude gown by Australian brand Maticevski, featuring a plunging neckline, waist cutouts, and cape sleeves. She chose to style it simply with a gold chain bracelet (swipe for more photos).

As for glam, she opted for a loose straight hairstyle with a center part, along with makeup in neutral tones.

We found a gunmetal version of this exact gown, called Modality, on Neiman Marcus’s website, retailing for $2,165.

The Ceremony

The actress uploaded a video taken at the ceremony, and it was as grand as you could imagine! It took place inside a beautiful basilica, with a lot of guests wearing formal attire in attendance. Highlights include Eva taking her oath, the Duke of Sevilla pinning the medal on her dress, and a photo op outside the gorgeous venue.

First Visit In 2017

This honor comes five years after Eva first visited the town of her ancestors. Back in 2017, she shared this pic on Instagram captioned, “Yep. This happened today! Got to finally discover my roots! I have been wanting to visit the small village where my ancestors came from and where my last name was born for years!! And today I got to meet all the amazing people in this small town who were beaming with pride!”
