Carrie Underwood Is Pastel-Perfect At 2022 American Music Awards

Underwood hit the AMAs carpet in a pink gown boasting a plunging neckline, fringe details in various pastel hues, draped straps, and a thigh-high slit that showed off her incredibly toned leg. She shared a pic on Instagram captioned, “Happy to be on the red carpet at the @amas!!! Can’t wait to perform!!!” and gave credit to her team, which included hairstylist and makeup artist Melissa Schleicher, stylist Emma Trask, and fashion designer Tony Ward.

The brand also uploaded a photo of the American Idol alum’s look to their Instagram page, which they captioned, “Rendered in vivid hues of multi-colored Charleston embroidered dress worn by the beautiful @carrieunderwood as she attends the @amas 2022.” For added sparkle, the singer teamed it with a pair of crystal-covered sandals and dangling gemstone earrings.

As for hair and makeup, Schleicher (who flew to Los Angeles from Tennessee just to glam up Underwood for the evening) opted for a voluminous wavy ‘do and a beauty look in neutral tones.

As expected, the “Before He Cheats” hitmaker’s Instagram post got a lot of love from friends and fans. Many comments were about her iconic legs, including “The greatest legs in country music history 👍💪,” “She never skips leg day!!! 🔥🔥🔥,” and “OH MY QUAD.”

For her acrobatic performance of “Crazy Angels” (she entered the stage via a cage flying above the audience!), Underwood changed into more comfortable attire: a color-block catsuit in black, white, pink, and blue with see-through panels. She slipped out of her heels and sang barefoot, too.
