Kaley Cuoco brought a heavy dose of sparkle to the premiere of Meet Cute last week in New York City. The 36-year-old actress made sure she was dressed to the nines when she attended the screening of her new rom-com, where she plays a woman who travels back in a time machine over and over again to try to change the person she’s dating, played by Pete Davidson, into her ideal man.
But while Kaley chose the ultra-glam route, Pete opted for the exact opposite. Scroll to see.
The Big Bang Theory alum arrived for the premiere in a gold sequin jacket (which she wore as a dress), featuring contrasting velvet lapels and toggle fastenings. The dazzling piece is from Dolce & Gabbana and retails on the Italian luxury house’s website for $5,595. For head-to-toe glitz, she styled the blazer with a gold box clutch and bejeweled black heels by Manolo Blahnik.
Pete, however, decided to go super casual in a white hoodie and green sweatpants, prompting Kaley to comment while being interviewed by ET on the carpet, “I'm glad Pete dressed up for the occasion. I'm so glad.”
As for glam, the Flight Attendant star’s makeup artist Natasha Smee kept it subtle and elegant with a sweep of gold eyeshadow, black liner, rose lipstick, and pink blush. Her hairstylist Tommy Buckett, meanwhile, went for a cute bubble braid with wispy bangs and face-framing tendrils.
Kaley has been reaching for menswear-inspired looks lately. On September 20, she made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to talk about Meet Cute and play some games. Her stylist Brad Goreski (who also dressed her for the premiere) chose a black-and-white Dolce & Gabbana ensemble for the occasion, consisting of a sequined tux jacket, classic trousers, a shirt, and a bow tie.
Finishing off her outfit were Manolo Blahnik shoes, the Lurum mules in black satin featuring elegant crystal embellishments. They retail for $1,395 on the brand’s website.
For her Fallon outing, the actress sported a simple straight hairstyle with eye-grazing bangs. Her hairstylist Tommy Buckett shared the above pic on his Instagram with the caption, “New bangs!! Clean classic blowout for @kaleycuoco.”
As for her makeup, Natasha Smee went for a subtle smokey eye along with pink blush and lipstick. And for added glamour, Kaley accessorized with a pair of diamond drop earrings. Lovely!
